'Sara'S' review: Anchored by a powerful script, this simple film breaks the conventions of the feel-good template

Jude Anthany Joseph's third feature, after Ohm Shanti Oshana and Oru Muthassi Gadha, released on Prime Video at midnight today. This seemingly feel-good film, also seemingly made in limited spaces and with a shoestring budget, tackles a concept and issue never tested before in Malayalam cinema  circles. In Sara'S, we follow the life of Sara Vincent (Anna Ben), a young, bubbly, yet unapologetic filmmaker who struggles to make it big in the industry. She continuously assists male directors and is in the scripting works of her dream film. Sara has decided, from her school days, that she would not bear any kids. Andy Serkis to direct Venom 2

Andy Serkis has made his mark felt in Hollywood as the person who made the art of motion-capture recognizable among the audience. His iconic roles as Gollum in The Lord of the Rings series, King Kong in Peter Jackson's King Kong, and Caesar in the rebooted Planet of the Apes franchise have turned Serkis into the industry's most beloved mo-cap artist. He also had played acclaimed roles in the British ventures such as Longford (2006) and Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2010), which garnered him Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations. The wait for Christopher Nolan's next had begun since the release of the epic war film Dunkirk in 2017. The English director has proved his cinematic elan with his highly successful films, which followed non linear story lines, elastic timelines, multiple character arcs, and mind-blowing psychological themes. IT Chapter Two- the Losers' Club assembles once again

The 2017's adaptation of Stephen King's novel IT, was hailed as the best horror thriller to come out in recent years. The movie shook the box office and at the same time, terrorized the audiences who watched one of the best adaptations of Stephen King novels. Lion King's live action rendition gears for release

Jon Favreau's live action rendition of the 1994 classic animated film The Lion King is undoubtedly the most awaited films of the year. Favreau's phenomenal success with his 2016 live action Jungle Book is enough proof that the director-cum-actor can do justice to the classical film and it's remake.  No other series of movies have had it's impact on the film industry as influential as the Toy Story series. Originating in 1995, this Pixar-animated saga still has fans all over the world. The long wait to watch yet another Tarantino treat is coming to an end as the acclaimed director's ninth directorial venture, Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, gears up for theatrical release on July 26, 2019. Avengers: Endgame- Trailer Breakdown

The wait is coming to an end. Ever since the Marvel Studios broke the hearts of fans and left audiences flabbergasted with it's surprising cliffhanger of a climax in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, theories and questions on how the Earth's Mightiest Heroes will undo the damage done by Thanos's apocalyptic snap. McQuarrie-Cruise combo returns for Mission Impossible 7 and 8

The clandestine spy agency that deals with impossible missions will be back to give audience an adrenaline rush, not once but twice in the back-to-back years of 2021 and 2022. Christopher McQuarrie, the director of Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation and Fallout , announced through his Twitter handle that he will come back to direct two more films for the spy thriller franchise, which began years ago in 1996, with the legendary actor Tom Cruise at the helm of the cast. 2018 saw McQuarrie directing Fallout, which turned out to be highest-grossing film of both Tom Cruise and the franchise.
