Christopher McQuarrie, the director of Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation and Fallout , announced through his Twitter handle that he will come back to direct two more films for the spy thriller franchise, which began years ago in 1996, with the legendary actor Tom Cruise at the helm of the cast. 2018 saw McQuarrie directing Fallout, which turned out to be highest-grossing film of both Tom Cruise and the franchise.
